Changing with the seasons.
Considering therapy is a big step. Connecting with your therapist and following through past your fear can be scary and difficult at times. In this Short Talk with Scott, I discuss the importance of giving yourself 90 days to see if things turn around for you. Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6ZpjtG1hpw

Between Covid 19, nationwide protests, and the new election cycle upon us, Stress and anxiety are on the rise…Not sure what to do? Try these tips to help you cope with it.

– Decrease screen time
– Help others (this will help you too)
– Get some fresh air, take a walk around your neighborhood

Please check out my video, whereas I talk about the 3 reasons why people often don’t get the assistance they may need. Feedback is always appreciated.
My clients often think they have to know all of the steps and have every detail planned out and perfect before they can start to make changes. But what I teach them is that they will never feel 100% ready, and more often than not, they are ready right now.
You don’t have to have all your ducks in a row to get started on working on you, working on a project, etc.
Start with what you have and what you know, exactly where you are.
Give yourself credit because starting is the hardest part, and we all have to start somewhere. When things get messy, remember how far you’ve already come.
If not today, when?
If you’ve been waiting to be ready or need help figuring out some of the steps, TODAY is YOUR day! Call me to get started. I can be reached here, at (414) 881-7401.
You are not alone. I repeat, you are not alone.
At times it may feel like you’re the only one struggling. Like you’re the only one that knows what you’re going through.
According to the National Alliance on Mental Health, 1 in 5 adults experience mental illness. That means whatever you’re struggling with, chances are you are not the only one struggling.
Maybe your relationship is struggling since being quarantined. Or your kids are not on a schedule. Or it feels like life is just passing you by. Even though at times it may feel like we are the only one struggling in this way, we have to remind ourselves that we are not alone.
If you need someone to talk to, who understands what you’re going through, give me a call or text me at (414) 881-7401.
The last several months may have knocked you for a loop or derailed some of your dreams and/or plans. Have to keep in mind to stay healthy physically and mentally, so when this passes, you will be able to ready to move forward.
When you feel like you’re down for the count, like the dream is too far out of reach remember ‘You Got This!’ Get back on your feet and keep going.
You can use this ‘challenge’ to keep moving forward even when things are difficult. Dodge excuses that keep you stuck in place. Embrace the inner strength and confidence, and put in the hard work to accomplish your goals. The choice is yours, you can either stay down for the count, or you can stand up to whatever you’re facing right now.
If you need someone else in your corner to help you face these challenges, give me a call. I’m ready to help. Reach out at (414) 881-7401, or visit www.alwaysabetteryou.com

Stay at Home, don’t stay at home. Wear a mask, masks don’t help much. We will have a vaccine soon, it may take awhile to get a vaccine. One thing is for sure right now, there is a whole bunch of mixed signals. For many, we can just go about our business but for someone who has anxiety all of these mix messages may be creating an even higher level of anxiety. If you know someone who has anxiety, please check on them. If anyone needs more in-depth help, let me know. I can be reached at (414) 881-7401 or visit me at www.alwaysabetteryou.com
