Depression, it’s not just all in your mind.

Some people will never understand what it’s like to feel so low and depressed that waking up is the highlight of your day and even that doesn’t feel good. The struggle is real, and while some feel that things will never get better help is available. (414) 881-7401 or www.alwaysabetteryou.com

Anxiety During Covid-19

Stay at Home, don’t stay at home. Wear a mask, masks don’t help much. We will have a vaccine soon, it may take awhile to get a vaccine. One thing is for sure right now, there is a whole bunch of mixed signals. For many, we can just go about our business but for someone who has anxiety all of these mix messages may be creating an even higher level of anxiety. If you know someone who has anxiety, please check on them. If anyone needs more in-depth help, let me know. I can be reached at (414) 881-7401 or visit me at www.alwaysabetteryou.com

Being Grateful

In difficult times, we can easily get overwhelmed by what’s going wrong, or everything that is missing in our lives. We can lose sight of all of the good that surrounds us. But that doesn’t mean the good isn’t there. The good is always there, we just need to start to see it again. The way we do that is through gratitude.

What (3) things are you grateful for right in this moment?

This post was inspired by my friend Kimberly Geschke who mentioned she started reading “The Magic,” by Rhonda Byrne, becoming more grateful and very good things started happening for her.

Goal For Right Now!!

Covid-19 has caused a lot of unknowns.

Am I going to be safe? Are my loved ones going to be safe?

How am I going to manage?

How long are they going to keep this Safe at Home going?

What am I going to do?

Are all of your thoughts about the future stressing you out?

Think about today. Right here. And right now. What can you do today that moves you in the right direction (or just makes you laugh)?

Control What You Can Control.

Although most of us heard about the Coronavirus before it hit the United States and put a stop to what was our normal routine, none of us were prepared of how it would impact us.

So today’s question is: what are you doing everyday to keep yourself sane? I’m not talking about hard things, I’m talking about easy things. Here are some ideas on what you can do daily to keep yourself sane (and have a little fun while you’re at it!)
Play with your kids or dog every day
 Make your bed every day
Get outside for 15 minutes every day
 Drink water every day
 Dance every day

Let’s focus on what we can control. Struggling to make it through this?  You are not alone.  Feel free to share and to reach out (414) 881-7401.

Being Grateful

No matter what life throws at you, you can always find something to be thankful for.
I am thankful for the privilege of meeting clients where they are, helping them heal, and walking alongside them as they continue on their journey to a more fulfilling life.
What are you grateful for today?
