Change Comes With The Season

From clothing, to activities, to spring, and fall house keeping, without often thinking about it, we often change with the season.
We feel the change in the air around us, we start to get the urge to change within us.
With fall 2020 upon us, and with all what has taken place this year, what is it you would most like to change in your life? What problem or situation would you like to solve once and for all?
Instead of waiting for the problem to go away on its own (which by now you know it won’t), call me. I can help you make the changes you want so you can start the new season fresh. You can contact me here, (414) 881-7401, scott@alwaysabetteryou.com

Controlling Your Anxiety

Between Covid 19, nationwide protests, and the new election cycle upon us, Stress and anxiety are on the rise…Not sure what to do? Try these tips to help you cope with it.

– Focus on things you can control (ie. get a good night’s sleep)
– Stay ‘virtually’ connected
– Be kind to yourself (ie. self care, exercise)
– Decrease screen time
– Help others (this will help you too)
– Get some fresh air, take a walk around your neighborhood
– Remind yourself to stay present (instead of a ‘what ifs’ takeover)
– Reach out for support from friends or a therapist when you need it.

As always, I am here if you or someone you love needs some assistance making it through these difficult times. You can reach me here, at (414) 881-7401, scott@alwaysabetteryou.com

You Don’t Have To Wait To Get Started!!

My clients often think they have to know all of the steps and have every detail planned out and perfect before they can start to make changes. But what I teach them is that they will never feel 100% ready, and more often than not, they are ready right now.

You don’t have to have all your ducks in a row to get started on working on you, working on a project, etc.

Start with what you have and what you know, exactly where you are.

Give yourself credit because starting is the hardest part, and we all have to start somewhere. When things get messy, remember how far you’ve already come.

If not today, when?

If you’ve been waiting to be ready or need help figuring out some of the steps, TODAY is YOUR day! Call me to get started. I can be reached here, at (414) 881-7401.

You Are Good, Say It With Me!!

It’s August 1st, so let’s start this month of right. Say it with me!!

Start your day with these positive affirmations, then post them somewhere you can read them everyday. Studies show that using positive and uplifting language, spoken (including in your head) or written (hello journaling) rewires your brain and can actually improve your overall health and success.

Being Grateful

In difficult times, we can easily get overwhelmed by what’s going wrong, or everything that is missing in our lives. We can lose sight of all of the good that surrounds us. But that doesn’t mean the good isn’t there. The good is always there, we just need to start to see it again. The way we do that is through gratitude.

What (3) things are you grateful for right in this moment?

This post was inspired by my friend Kimberly Geschke who mentioned she started reading “The Magic,” by Rhonda Byrne, becoming more grateful and very good things started happening for her.

Change is not always easy.

If real change was easy, everyone would be doing it. What’s something you really want to change? What is one obstacle in your way? How could you overcome this obstacle? Not sure, no worries, let’s talk. Give me a call or a text (414) 881-7401. Thanks, Scott

Not Giving Up!!

I know we are in some trying times and many are hurting financially, and otherwise, including myself.

Here is a short story of not giving and giving up from a friend of mine Max Bollkman Zuleta of Art Below Zero Ice Sculptures.

I hope it inspires you to keep moving forward, I know his words move me forward..

Thank you Max Bollkman Zuleta for sharing this:  The word of the season for every business owner is “pivot”. Since ice sculpting is pretty much in a halt for who knows how long, I’ll need to keep my business and family afloat, well, it turns out it’s very difficult to learn a new sculpting technique in a new material but for &$@& sakes I have survived civil wars, flying bullets over my head, drug cartels, corrupted police, politicians and military and I swear this fucking virus is not going to take me out of business, I should have opened a steakhouse though, we as small businesses are pretty much on our own, I have never collected unployment and is not in my plans.

Being Grateful

No matter what life throws at you, you can always find something to be thankful for.
I am thankful for the privilege of meeting clients where they are, helping them heal, and walking alongside them as they continue on their journey to a more fulfilling life.
What are you grateful for today?
